Terms of Use

One Person is an operating system for one-person businesses: customer records, invoices, document branding, payment tracking, and the workflow that connects them. We build for independent professionals — the “you” in these terms is a person running their own business, or someone authorized to act for one.

You need an account to use the platform. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@oneperson.app if you believe someone else has accessed it.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
• The information you give us (name, email, business details) must be accurate.
• One account is for one business. Workspaces you create belong to your account.

New accounts start with a 7-day Pro trial — no card required to try the product. If you continue on a paid plan, billing is handled by our payment processor and renews automatically until you cancel.

• You can cancel anytime from your account settings; access runs to the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change — we'll give you notice before a renewal at a new price.
• Taxes may apply depending on where you are.

The customer records, invoices, logos, and documents you create in One Person are your business data. We don't own it, and we don't sell it. You give us only the limited permission we need to store, process, and display that content to run the service for you — for example, rendering your invoice as a PDF or delivering it to a client you asked us to email.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings.

When you share an invoice, we generate an unguessable link that shows a read-only copy to anyone who has it. You control when to share those links and with whom. Treat them like the documents they contain.

Use One Person for legitimate business. Don't:

• send spam, fraudulent invoices, or phishing through the platform;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or malicious (including malware);
• probe, overload, or interfere with the service or other people's data;
• resell or misrepresent the service as your own.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that put the service or other users at risk.

The One Person software, design, templates, and brand are ours (or our licensors'). These terms don't transfer any of that to you beyond the right to use the service. Invoice templates you apply become part of your documents — but the template designs themselves remain ours to offer to everyone.

Parts of the product rely on trusted providers — for example, email delivery, payment processing, and sign-in with Google. Their handling of your data is described in our Privacy Notice. Third-party services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

We ship improvements continuously and occasionally retire features. We aim for the service to be available all the time, but we don't promise uninterrupted operation — maintenance, upgrades, and events outside our control happen. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

One Person is provided “as is.” We're a tool for running your business — not your accountant, lawyer, or tax advisor. Documents you generate (including invoices and their tax fields) are your responsibility to verify for your jurisdiction and situation.

To the maximum extent the law allows, One Person won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — like lost profits or lost business — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using One Person and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) do.

When we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the product or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
